Description
The original EEPROM firmware binary file for the Epson L800 printer is a technical file used with an EPROM programmer, a manual procedure that involves directly extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board.
Identification:
Requirements:
- 8-pin EEPROM programmer, recommended models are RT809F or RT809H.
After making the purchase, you will receive the file in your email.
Instructions:
To back up the information stored in the logic board’s memory, follow these steps:
- Carefully remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board.
- Place the EEPROM in the EEPROM programmer socket and read its content to create a backup.
- Save the resulting backup file to recover information in case of issues during the programming process or compatibility problems.
- Download the firmware sent to your email and program it onto the previously backed-up EEPROM.
- Verify that the programming is successful and error-free.
- Once programming is complete, reposition the EEPROM back onto the board, paying attention to pin 1 details for correct orientation.
- Check soldering connections thoroughly to ensure proper connection.
- Now you can test the equipment. The files available on our site have been tested and approved by our technical team, so the equipment should function correctly.
