Archived BIN Epson L100 EEPROM Original Firmware
Description
The archived binary file is the original firmware EEPROM file for the Epson L100 printer. This file is for technical use and is not a software. It is intended to be used with an EPROM programmer, a manual procedure that involves extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board directly.
Requirements
You will need an 8-pin EEPROM programmer, and we recommend the RT809F or RT809H model. After purchasing, you will receive the file in your email.
Backup Instructions
To back up the information stored in the logic board’s memory, follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board.
2. Place the EEPROM in the EEPROM programmer socket and read its content to create a backup.
3. Save the resulting backup file, which will allow you to recover the information in case of issues during the programming process or if any compatibility problems arise.
4. Download the firmware we have sent to your email and program it into the previously backed-up EEPROM.
5. Verify that the programming is successful and error-free.
6. Once the programming is successfully completed, reinsert the EEPROM into its original position on the board. Pay special attention to the details of pin 1 to ensure correct orientation.
7. Check the soldering carefully to ensure proper connection.
8. You can now test the equipment. The files available on our site have been tested and approved by our technical team, so the equipment should function correctly.
