Archived Bin Epson L3160 EEPROM Original Firmware
Description
ARCHIVE BIN OF THE ORIGINAL EEPROM FIRMWARE OF EPSON L3160 PRINTER
Technical use file, not software, is the binary file to be used with the EPROM Recorder, a manual procedure that is performed by directly extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board.
Requirements:
- 8-pin EEPROM Recorder, we recommend model RT809F or RT809H.
- After making the purchase, you will receive the file in your email.
Backup Steps:
To back up the information stored in the memory of the logic board, follow these steps:
- Carefully remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board.
- Place the EEPROM in the EEPROM recorder socket and proceed to read its content to make a backup copy.
- Save the resulting backup file, which will allow you to recover the information in case of problems during the recording process or if any incompatibility arises.
- Download the firmware that we have sent to your email and proceed to write it to the previously backed up EEPROM.
- Verify that the recording is successful and error-free.
- With the recording completed successfully, reposition the EEPROM in its original position on the board. Pay close attention to the details of pin 1 to ensure correct orientation.
- Carefully review the solder joints to ensure proper connection.
- Now you can test the equipment. The files available on our site have been tested and approved by our technical team, so the equipment should work properly.
