Description
The ARCHIVO BINARIO CHIPLESS EPSON XP241 is a technical use file, not a software, it is a binary file intended to be used with the EPROM Programmer, a manual procedure that is carried out by directly extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board. The printer changes its model to (XP SERIES), allowing it to adapt the ink system.
Requirements
Requirements include an 8-pin EEPROM Programmer, with recommended models being RT809F or RT809H. After making a purchase, you will receive the file in your email. To back up the information stored on the logic board, follow these steps:
Back-up Instructions
- Remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board carefully.
- Place the EEPROM in the EEPROM programmer socket and proceed to read its contents to create a backup copy.
- Save the resulting backup file, which will allow you to recover the information in case of problems during the recording process or if any incompatibility arises.
- Download the firmware we have sent to your email and proceed to record it on the previously backed-up EEPROM.
- Ensure that the recording is successful and error-free.
- Once the recording is successfully completed, re-insert the EEPROM in its original position on the board. Pay close attention to the details of pin 1 to ensure correct orientation.
- Thoroughly check the soldering connections to ensure proper connection.
- Now you can test the equipment. The files available on our site have been tested and approved by our technical team, so the equipment should function correctly.
