ARCHIVO BINARIO CHIPLESS EPSON XP5100 is a technical use file, not a software. It is a binary file to be used with the EPROM Reader, a manual procedure that is performed by directly extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board. The printer changes its model to (SERIE L), allowing it to adapt the ink system.
REQUIREMENTS:
For this procedure, you will need an 8-pin EEPROM Reader, we recommend the RT809F or RT809H model. After making the purchase, you will receive the file in your email.
Backup Instructions:
- Remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board carefully.
- Place the EEPROM in the socket of the EEPROM Reader and proceed to read its content to create a backup.
- Save the resulting backup file, which will allow you to recover the information in case of any issues during the recording process or if any incompatibility arises.
Firmware Download and Recording:
Download the firmware we have sent to your email and proceed to record it on the previously backed-up EEPROM. Ensure that the recording is successful and error-free. Once the recording is completed, reinsert the EEPROM back into its original position on the board, paying attention to the pin 1 details for correct orientation. Check the soldering carefully to ensure a proper connection.
