The binary file for Epson WF-7820 is a technical file used with the EPROM recorder. This manual procedure involves extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board.
Model Change
The printer’s model is changed to the (L SERIES, ET SERIES) so that it can adapt to the ink system.
Requirements
– 8-pin EEPROM Recorder, recommended models are RT809F or RT809H
– After purchase, you will receive the file in your email
Instructions for Backup
1. Carefully remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board
2. Place the EEPROM in the EEPROM recorder socket and proceed to read its content to make a backup
3. Save the resulting backup file to recover information in case of issues during recording or incompatibility
4. Download the firmware sent to your email and record it on the previously backed up EEPROM
5. Ensure successful recording without errors
6. Reinsert the EEPROM in its original position on the board, paying attention to pin 1 details for correct orientation
7. Inspect soldering carefully for proper connection
