ARCHIVO BINARIO CHIPLESS EPSON WF-7840 is a technical file, not a software. It is a binary file to be used with the EPROM recorder, a manual process that involves directly extracting the EEPROM from the printer’s logic board. The printer changes its model to (SERIE L, ET) in this way, allowing it to adapt the ink system.

REQUIREMENTS:

EPROM Recorder with 8 pins, we recommend the RT809F or RT809H model. After making the purchase, you will receive the file in your email.

Instructions for backing up information stored in the logic board memory:

  1. Remove the EEPROM(s) from the logic board carefully.
  2. Place the EEPROM in the socket of the EEPROM recorder and proceed to read its content to make a backup copy.
  3. Save the resulting backup file, which will allow you to recover the information in case of problems during the recording process or any incompatibility.
  4. Download the firmware we have sent to your email and proceed to record it on the previously backed up EEPROM.
  5. Verify that the recording is successful and error-free.
  6. After successful recording, place the EEPROM back in its original position on the board. Pay special attention to the details of pin 1 to ensure correct orientation.
  7. Check the solder joints carefully to ensure a proper connection.
  8. Now you can test the equipment. The files available on our site have been tested and approved by our technical team, so the equipment should function correctly.
